MCB Office

The staircase became a collaborative statement piece, designed by kap.studio and realised by MCB itself, merging technical craftsmanship with architectural ambition. Its placement beneath the light well ties the vertical circulation directly to the building's daylighting strategy.

Throughout the office, joinery and lighting were designed as integrated elements rather than added features. The entrance hall lighting, for instance, replaces a standard pendant fixture with a more contemporary, atmospheric solution.

The layout balances openness and privacy: rounded custom cabinetry divides departments while glazed sections maintain sightlines across the floor, and sound-dampening construction allows for concentrated work or meetings without disruption.
