Desert Mirage

The entrance sets the tone: rounded plaster walls, an arched passage, and a staircase finished in the same monolithic material, its blackened steel handrail the only sharp line in an otherwise soft composition. A walnut-framed mirror and a single potted plant complete the scene without crowding it.

In the kitchen, oak cabinetry with leather pulls runs the length of the room beneath a travertine countertop and matching splashback. A sculpted extractor hood, finished in plaster and wrapped in wood, echoes the curves found elsewhere in the house. Walnut bar stools with sage-green upholstery pull up to the island, lit by a row of linen pendant lamps that soften the daylight filtering through sheer curtains.

Throughout, the palette stays close to sand, cream, and warm timber, letting material texture and natural light define the space rather than color contrast.
