Quiet but Colorful

Throughout the villa in Breda, the layout of the living spaces shapes how colour is introduced. In the living room and kitchen, the soft palette is carried through in a clean, contemporary vocabulary, with materials and furnishings echoing one another in tone and texture without overwhelming the space. The kitchen shares the same atmosphere as the living room, allowing the house to read as a continuous whole.

In the bedroom and bathroom, that same calm is maintained, with a more restrained use of colour suited to the privacy of these rooms. The black and white accents return here in a subtler form, offering a point of quiet contrast against the softer hues.

Stock Dutch Design was responsible for the interior design of this project, in which the villa — from façade to detail — is considered through a consistent visual language. The result is a home in which every space contributes to the same sense of lightness and coherence.
