Monumental Villa

The hallway sets the tone from the outset, a space that balances formality with intimacy and prepares the visitor for the sequence of rooms beyond. The living area follows naturally, its scale matching the villa's stately character without heavy dressing.

The kitchen forms the functional core, while the bathroom and home office show how contemporary use settles within a nineteenth-century footprint. Duin Interior was responsible for the interior finish, an approach that lets classical detail and modern comfort coexist without either dominating.

Outside, the grounds extend around terrace and pool, where the villa opens toward the garden. Completed in 2023 in Apeldoorn, the project shows how a monument can be reused without losing its original character.
