House T.T.

House T.T.

by Framework Studio

Set beneath a sloped skylight in Amsterdam, this villa interior unfolds around a continuous oak wall that shifts between bookshelf, cabinetry, and sliding panels. Ceramics, vases, and small sculptures are arranged with quiet intention across open shelves, while a dark dining table and cane armchairs anchor the room below. The kitchen continues the material language with bookmatched stone and fluted glass fronts.

The living space is organised around a full-height oak millwork system that runs the length of the room. Sliding panels conceal storage, while open compartments display a collection of ceramic vessels, vases, and figurative sculptures alongside books and framed photographs. Slim black pendant lights drop from the ceiling, marking the dining table without interrupting the shelving above.

A boucle sofa sits flush against the cabinetry, its pale tone echoing the oak and the herringbone parquet floor. Pierre Jeanneret-style cane chairs and a dark, sculptural table introduce contrast in form and material.

In the kitchen, the same oak cabinetry meets a bookmatched marble backsplash and countertop, its veining continued across fluted glass cabinet fronts. Open shelving recessed into the stone holds a small vase, a candle, and a stack of books, keeping the display consistent with the rest of the apartment.
