The loft's double-height volume offered freedom from a fixed layout, allowing the design to be shaped entirely around the clients' needs. On the ground floor, the entrance, kitchen and living room flow together as one open area, while an inserted floor above accommodates a bathroom, two bedrooms and an office.

A striking element is the tall cabinet wall that spans both levels, combining storage, display niches for art objects and an integrated staircase. Its wooden and grey finishes offer a restrained counterpoint to the collection of paintings, drawings and objects placed throughout the home.

Completed in February 2021, the 180 m2 apartment demonstrates how spatial simplicity can support, rather than compete with, a personal art collection.
