The renovation reorganises the apartment around a series of freestanding volumes. A high-gloss black box marks the entrance sequence, its reflective surface blurring the room beyond, while a walnut-panelled bookshelf anchors an adjoining study with books, ceramics and framed portraits arranged loosely across its shelves.

In the dining area, a dark sculptural table with angular legs sits beneath a circular amber mirror, its warm tones echoing the wood tones found elsewhere in the apartment. Cream leather-backed chairs soften the otherwise graphic palette of black and grey.

The adjoining living room shifts register: a bouclé sectional, travertine and blackened-wood coffee tables, and a tan leather lounge chair sit on a thick pile rug, with a cone-shaped pendant and green floor lamp adding sculptural accents. Throughout, polished concrete floors and neutral walls let the furniture and art carry the interior's character.
