Apartment Hoogeveen

by Leskens Interior

This apartment interior combines warm, dark wood tones with soft neutrals to create a refined, layered living space. A custom-built display wall with backlit niches showcases curated objects, while a marble kitchen island anchors the open dining and cooking area. Herringbone flooring and sheer curtains add texture throughout, and a striking marble-clad powder room delivers a sculptural, spa-like touch.

The living area centers around a floor-to-ceiling wooden cabinet wall, its recessed shelves lit to highlight decorative objects, ceramics and personal accents against a textured metallic backdrop. A generous grey sectional sofa and layered cushions in rust and gold tones bring warmth to the seating zone, complemented by a plush area rug and slender floor lamps.

In the open-plan kitchen and dining space, a large black island with a veined marble countertop serves as both preparation surface and social hub, framed by a wine display and glazed cabinetry that partially separates the living room beyond. Herringbone-patterned flooring runs throughout the apartment, unifying the different zones.

A smaller guest bathroom continues the material story with full-height veined stone cladding and integrated vertical lighting strips, turning a functional room into a quietly dramatic space.
