Villa Trilogie

Villa Trilogie

by ENZO architectuur N interieur

This project merged three adjoining townhouses in Kudelstaart into one spacious, modern family home overlooking the Westeinderplassen lake. The original split-level layout, designed by the current owner's father, was preserved and reinterpreted, while the exterior was fully reclad in two brick tones with sleek aluminium detailing. At the rear, large glass sliding doors and a raised veranda with an oak-slat canopy blur the line between interior and garden, capturing the waterside view.

The facade's layered, dynamic character comes from window openings set at varying depths, some recessed and others projecting forward, creating shifting shadow lines across the brickwork. Internally, walls were removed to combine the three former homes into one open, flowing plan, with the original split-level connecting kitchen, living room and garden visually.

A staircase in dark oak and aluminium forms the home's central connecting element. The kitchen combines light oak, natural stone and stainless steel, while bedrooms upstairs feature warm bronze fixtures and onyx-effect wall panels, adding a quiet sense of luxury to the material palette.
